Job Title: Head of Paid Search
Experience: 1+ year Pay Per Click / Search Marketing Experience and Experience Managing a Team Location: Spain

Top Position is looking for a focused, driven individual with at least one year’s experience managing third party pay per click accounts and proven team leadership skills to oversee its expanded pay per click management department.

This is a rare opening, perfect for candidates looking to move into a larger search marketing company or for those ready to take a step up the career ladder.

As the head of account management, you will be responsible for the quality of every paid search campaign managed on behalf of our thriving client portfolio.

You will direct and oversee the operations of a team of seven pay per click account managers. Setting goals and objectives, developing our in-house training programme, recruiting new account managers, liasing with the three main search engines, checking the quality and quantity of work carried out, suggesting additions to campaigns and troubleshooting when things don’t work out exactly as expected are just some of the many challenges you will face on a daily basis.

Familiar with best practise guidelines and committed to delivering a strong return on investment, adding value and making a positive difference to client campaigns, you must be a team player, able to motivate and encourage, capable of managing your own time and that of your team.

With paid search campaigns active in several European languages across three search platforms, your pay per click knowledge must be second to none. With first hand experience of the Google, Yahoo and MSN platforms, this is a hands-on role that will require you to get involved with complex accounts and ensure they are being well planned, developed and executed.

As the head of paid search, you will liase closely with the head of sales, coordinating work schedules and campaign start dates and ensuring that timeframes are stuck too. You will need to foresee problems before they arise, developing solutions and maintaining strong channels of communications within the company management structure.

Client facing experience is essential as you will be required to attend meetings and present to new and potential clients.
