New AdWords Interface Released

Google have rolled out a beta test version of a planned new interface for its AdWords account holders. The pay per click platform has been given a facelift with a planned new interface designed to allow speedier access to key management areas along with providing more intuitive campaign navigation.

The new interface introduces four key new features:

  • 1.       Performance Graphs: Rather than creating custom reports, the performance graphs will be used to track trends across every campaign management page.
  • 2.       Roll Up Tabs: Quick access to core metrics will be available via insightful rollup tabs. These tabs allow advertisers to edit keywords, placements and advert text across ad groups from one central location.
  • 3.       In line editing: Changes you need to make immediately are now possible with in-line editing. That means you can review keywords and ads as you go, rather than navigating across to a new page to implement the planned amendments.
  • 4.       Integrated content network management: A new ‘networks’ tab brings the content network closer to regular search advertising. This improved proximity is intended to give greater control over content network performance. The tab will give one click access to placement stats, bid functions and exclusion preferences.
